Lightning CarouselNavigation is a component with thumbnail images moving around an imaginary elliptical 3D pace with different speed dependant of mouse position and action.

The users are able to chose and select an item and click on it to trigger any action definable by the Flash developer. There is visual feedback for preloading items and on clicking them to indicate response to user action. The elliptical perspective of the movement can be defined with the components property inspector.

The data for this component is loaded from a user configurable XML file. You can even define your own (additional) XML tags for advanced usage inside your applications.

There are various options to scale the thumbnails and to scale down larger images for usage as thumbnail images if no extra thumbnail images are available. The component has many features for customizing its appearance and functionality.
