Template Overview

Thank you for taking the time to look at our new edge series template! This new edge series template is a result of hundreds of hours and months of development. Our previous template, Unlimited, was released in August of 2009 and currently has been purchased close to 600 times. Countless hundreds of you web developers out there posted on our forum letting us know what you liked and didn’t like and what you would like to potentially see changed or added. So we listened, sorted out the most common requests, and added as many new features as we possibly could and then a couple more. 

Hope you guys enjoy this template! Due to the hundreds of new XML options we have added, you will be able to skin this template to your liking 10 times faster than before! Oh, and we included a 39 page help file. Our last template had almost 700 questions on the forum, so we beefed up the help file so you could find the answers to your questions much easier.

Content Module

You can add an unlimited number of content pages to your template from XML . This is by far the most feature rich content module out there! Here is a list of the features you can edit from XML :

Photo Module

You can unlimited number of photo modules to your template from XML . Each image you add you have the ability to enable or disable the super-size image view and information pop ups. Your information pop-up can contain unlimited html text blocks and even images! You can skin the info pop ups background color, width, height, and opacity too. Contact Module

Full Featured Contact form. PHP enabled. Edit two small php variables and your contact form will be sending you emails. We packed ALL of the features of the content module into the contact form. So you can add and position unlimited images, html text blocks, and swfs from XML . And your images can include any one of the 10 pop ups available. Not only does the contact module include every option the content module features, but you can also position all your form elements from xml and swap out your send and clear buttons from XML .

Background Module

The background module allows you to choose to add a different background for each and every page on your site. You can load a tiled image background, a full-screen image background, a external swf background, or a full screen video background!

Slide show Module

The Slide show module is a simple module that allows you to make a Slide show of images from XML . We added a bunch of XML options so skinning it will be much easier and can be done almost entirely from XML ! You also have the ability to add a Slide show to any of your content or contact pages!

MP3 Module

This mp3 module can be enabled/disabled from xml. And is fully skin able from XML . You can set the initial volume level from XML , set all of your text, album art, and mp3 urls. Completely customize in minutes!

External Swf Module

The external swf module allows you to load AS3 swfs. You can disable auto-centering from XML if your external swf positions itself.

4 Video Modules

Choose from a Single Video, One Category Minimal Gallery, 4×3 Full Video Gallery, or a 16×9 video gallery. Here are some of the options you can set from XML .

• Skin video gallery entirely from heavily commented external XML file
• Each video has the option to auto-start
• Supports multiple categories
• Supports unlimited scrollable videos per category
• Choose to keep aspect ratio when in full screen mode or stretch video to fill screen from XML
• Set number of seconds to buffer video from XML
• Set category button and text colors for all three button state changes from XML
• Add a different background image in the large video description area for each video
• Set large video title – subtitle – description text colors and x & y from XML
• Set video width and height from XML
• Set pause/play button and icon colors, all three seek bar colors, time bar button & text colors, fullscreen button and icon colors, volume button-icon-base-level colors from XML
• Change background image behind the thumbnail panel.
• Set back and forward button and arrow colors from XML
• Set scroll bar color & scroller color from XML
• Video thumbnail description is html text and can include external links and can by styled from a single external .css file
• H.264 mpg4 support with flash 9 player installed
